Tradition Of Safety
More than Just Checking a Box
Safety is a Top Priority
Safety isn’t just a box to check off; it’s an integral part of our company culture and impacts every aspect of what we do. When our employees are healthy and safe, we can keep exceeding our clients’ expectations with timely project completions and a workforce that brings their best and most productive skills to the job site for a long time to come.

We take pride in our impeccable safety record and instill a philosophy of safety, personally and professionally, in every employee that joins our team. Using a combination of training, safety measures, consistent communication and real-time job hazard analysis (JHA), we ensure that every job gets done safely. Together, we hold each other accountable to make sure everyone goes home safe and healthy at the end of each day.

Background Checks
Ensuring Site Safety
Background screens are conducted for all personnel entering refineries and other job site locations. In addition, all employees are TWIC card holders, which is in compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act of 2002 regarding U.S. Homeland Security.
Maintaining an Exemplary Safety Record
A philosophy of safety, training protocols and on-site procedures all contribute to preventing injuries to employees and avoiding accidents at job sites. We are proud to have an incident rate that is consistently below 1.00, a comparatively and consistently low average for both industrial and commercial construction industries.
Drug & Alcohol Screening
Committed to a Drug-Free Workplace
Sonnikson is a member of ASAP Drug Solutions, Inc. and OSCA Random Drug and Alcohol Consortium. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screens are required for new employees as well as random testing for all employees. This also includes reasonable suspicion, post-accident and return-to-duty/follow-up screening for drugs and alcohol.
IIPP Training Program
Empowering Employees
Particularly important to health and safety is our IIPP Training Program which follows or exceeds OSHA Industry Standards. In addition, other training programs are implemented, including equipment training.
